Since its creation in 1993, Gatecrasher has rapidly become the UK's most outstanding and influential dance club and youth culture brand, changing the face of club culture globally. Gatecrasher began as a one-off party at the Engine House in the West Midlands in 1993 and has since built up a Worldwide reputation as a flamboyant, individual and hedonistic brand. From small beginnings, Gatecrasher went on to host several parties across the country before coming to reside at The Republic nightclub in Sheffield in March ’97.

Phenomenal success was achieved in the release of instant anthems - Flava Fever/Guilty andYoure Mine on Matts self-owned label, Prolific Recordings. Youre Mine was shortly followed by the release of epic single Sincere, a track eagerly sniffed out by Pete Tong and quickly named Petes essential tune for weeks running. Paul Randolph

Born in Philadelphia, Randolph began his musical journey in Sao Paolo, Brasil at age six where his father, also a musician, was living and working as an engineer. He spent his teenage years in Detroit where his ability to play a wide-range of music from jazz to funk to folk and all points in between lead to Paul sitting in on sessions with artists as varied and esteemed as P-Funk, War, Brian Setzer and Buddy Guy.
