Grandma
There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Grandma is one of Connor Kirby-Long's better-known aliases, although he is probably most well-known currently as Khonnor. As Grandma, he released several EPs online while still in high school, including Bopping Around in a Skin Car EP, For Your Broken Heart EP, Spinach Gas Room Spaghetti Straps EP, and Tiny Fashion. The Bog People
There are multiple artists with this name: (1) The Bog People were a group based out of New York in the late 1970's, known primarily for their 45 rpm release of "Communist Disco". The recording itself was a bit of a curiosity, apparently released by two small record record companies in concert, each one claiming their own "side". KGB Records was responsible for the "Communist Disco" side and Apocalips Records claimed the other, it being "North American Feelings".
Today The Sun Dies
Hailing from the Northeast of England Today the sun dies formed in Feb 2010 with members of various projects. In April of 2010 the band entered the studio to produce a four track demo which was added to Networking websites Myspace and facebook. With a distinct sound that stands out from the rivals, Today the sun dies had massive response leading the band to play Terrorizer magazine sponsored shows. Today the sun dies will feature on Terrorizer magazines Feb 2011 edition of Fearcandy Covermount.
Idiot Convention
Idiot Convention is a punk/thrashcore band from Merchtem (Belgium) formed in november 2007. The 3 members are Patrick (drums - ex-Comatose, ex-Anarcasticats), Stino (vocals - A Den of Robbers), Yelle (guitar - ex-Comatose, ex-Anarcasticats). Influences range from DRI to Ripcord over Sepultura and S.O.D. In 2008 Idiot Convention has released a cd containing 15 songs recorded during 3 demo-sessions. It's called "Still Millions of Idiots to Kill". It's a 100 percent D.I.Y. product.
Annotations of an Autopsy
Annotations of an Autopsy is a deathcore band from the UK. They formed in late 2006 with the purpose of writing aggressive low end death metal and playing it with passion, aggression and determination to insure they made their mark on the metal music scene worldwide. Influenced by bands such as devourment, skinless, circle of dead children, the acacia strain, goratory, deicide and aborted mixing old and new school death metal to form their own brand of aggressive deathcore.
Instinct of Survival
Originally formed in 1995 as Sperrzone, they started off playing rough hardcore. At some point in the late '90s they renamed the band Instinct of Survival and changed their style to grindcore. Texas Is the Reason
Texas Is the Reason was a post-hardcore band founded by former Shelter guitarist Norm Arenas and 108 drummer Chris Daly in 1994. A foundational quartet in the post-Sunny Day Real Estate movement of emo music, Texas Is the Reason played melodious but forceful rock music before disbanding in 1997. Norm Arenas (guitar), guitarist for the hardcore Hare Krishna band Shelter, formed Texas Is the Reason with friend and then fellow Hare Krishna devotee Chris Daly (drums), formerly of the band 108, which played music of a similar kind to Shelter's, some time in the early 1990s in New York City.
CATTLE DECAPITATION
Cattle Decapitation is an American grindcore/death metal band from San Diego, California, United States, formed in 1996. Over the span of a decade, the band has forged its not-so-humble beginnings in gore-grind into one of extreme metal's most relentless forces, encompassing a sound as schizophrenic as their record collections but with a determined lyrical stance resolutely damning the ills of humanity.
