An American Industrial/Synthpop band from Austin, Texas, 1998-present. Ctrl debuted in 1998 with Secure The Shadow. Over the next 13 years, the band released five more acclaimed albums, and appeared on various compilations. Ctrl released their seventh album, Fragmentary Moments, in 2012. It's comprised of ten songs that allow the unique blend of pop-tinged electro, driving beats and signature guitar to remain the staples of their sound. The band continues to grow with each new incarnation, while carefully tipping a hat to the founders of the style.

Then 15, Pete Dafeet started DJing in the late 90s after messing around with Daft Punk and Jurassic 5 records on his cousin's decks. A rhythm freak since early age, he became fixated with house music and saved the money from his part time job to buy a wonky set of belt drive decks and a crackly mixer. Slowly but surely he started to learn the trade, and his tastes became focused on deep, underground house.

Blackwhole Entertainment signed a group of individuals in 2004 as Blackwhole Entertainment’s producers/DJs and named them Blackwhole (Group), namely Mister Cee and Mogrigo. This group formed the corner stone of the record company as it is known. Bovill is from London, UK. Founder of the Meanwhile label along with Murmur, Bovill has been invloved in electronic music in one form or another for well over a decade. A love of Detroit Techno, Chicago House, Electro, and the the deeper sounds of Berlin lead Bovill to spin tunes at some of London's seminal nights in the mid 90's at clubs such as Analogue City, Absolute, and Electric Underground, where the headline acts would include Robert Hood, Claude Young, Juan Atkins, and DJ Hell amongst others.
