Faiz Ali Faiz (born 1962 in Sharaqpur, Pakistan) is one of the main singers of qawwali, a devotional musical expression of the Sufis, a mystical offshoot of Islam. Faiz Ali Faiz comes from a family of qawwals from seven generations in Pakistan. He started his professional career in 1978, at age 16, creating at the same time his own qawwali ensemble. Though Faiz is from Lahore, he practices the doaba style from eastern Pakistan. He stated in recent interviews he has been influenced by Sham-Chaurasi, a famous Khayal singing school where Ustad Salamat Ali Khan belongs to.
Sally Garozzo is a singer-songwriter of Anglo-Sicilian descent. She graduated from London's Vocaltech in 2000 with the accolade 'Performer of the Year'. She went on to become a leading light on the private function circuit, performing at the Dorchester hotel and the Clapham Grand, as well as establishing herself as a session singer and accomplished vocal coach. Until We're Winning is a four piece Edinburgh based Indie/Pop-Rock band, who in the short time they've been together have already began to make an impact in the Scottish music scene. Starting off their careers known as Skyline, the band played a very successful set in the Glasgow O2 Academy, before getting a slot supporting 'The Heretics' at the Glasgow Oran Mor. Having only been together since October 2011, Until We're Winning have been moving at a breakneck pace, already having recorded a three track single to be released in Autumn 2012 and a Live E.P, featuring four tracks.
