Firebrand Boy is a chiptune and electronica producer from Greenock, Scotland. He is part of the new wave of chiptune musicians who were born after the rise of the demoscene. He has releases on several labels, including: Crunchyco, Toilville, 8bitpeoples, mp3death, Pale Fox Records, Intikrec and PixelPOP! Records.

The Cobras

More than one band have used this name, including: 1.) A garage band formed in Danville, IL in the mid-1960's. The members were only 12 or 13 years old when they recorded their sole single, 1966's "Try"/"Goodbye," issued on the Milky Way label (most famous as the home of rockabilly garage wildman Dean Carter). Both sides of the single were written by Cobras guitarist Eric Welsch, and considering the age of the performers, it wasn't bad.

The Depreciation Guild is a fuzzed-out, reverb drenched rock/electronic duo consisting of Kurt Feldman (guitar, vocals, programming/chip-tunes, toys), Christoph Hochheim (guitar, vocals), and Anton Hochheim (live drums). Backed solely by a Nintendo Entertainment System, the band blankets their sound with the crushing blows of its 8-Bit 2A03 sound chip. gwEm and Counter Reset

gwEm and Counter Reset hail from London, England where they are Kings of the Chip-scene if you want to call it that. gwEm who has written the very popular maXYmiser tracker for the Atari which is used as a backing to his flying V guitar and Counter Reset's Drums while they share vocal duties. While having a background in the demoscene as a duo they throw in influence from as far and wide as Judas Priest where they get there rocker mentality and The Blackout Crew whome inspired them to start putting a donk in to there tracks.

Anamanaguchi

Anamanaguchi is a four-piece group from New York City that makes emotional punk, pop & dance music using hacked Nintendos, Game Boys, and 16-bit soundscapes along with a full band. Anamanaguchi is Peter Berkman (guitar, songwriting), Ary Warnaar (guitar, songwriting), James DeVito (bass), and Luke Silas ('knife city', drums). A member of the artist collective 8bitpeoples, Peter Berkman has been creating chiptune music since 2003. Their debut, 'Power Supply' EP, was released in 2006 as a free download through 8bitpeoples and has since received a ton of downloads.
