Fokofpolisiekar

Fokofpolisiekar is a South African Afrikaans pop punk band from Bellville in Cape Town, formed in 2003. The band has been the cause of much controversy amongst the general public - generally due to their band name translating to "Fuck Off Police Car" in English, as well as the lyrical content of many of their songs. Band Members:
Francois Van Coke Hunter Kennedy Johnny de Ridder Wynand Myburgh Jaco Venter.

was recorded at Bellville Studios and produced by Theo Crous. In 2007 Fokofpolisiekar decided to take a break. This break gave us
(Francois & Wynand) the opportunity to express our mutual musical interests and we started writing songs together for the first time in years.

Haezer

HAEZER is an electro DJ that combines elements of punk, breakbeat, industrial music and glitch-ridden Electroclash. HAEZER originates from Cape Town, South Africa and has been producing his signature trash/electro sound since late 2008. He began his live career at Cape Towns mega dance club, THE ASSEMBLY, opening for visiting internationals such as Steve Aoki, Gtronic, Djedjotronic and Le Castle Vania.

James Phillips (22 January 1959 - 31 July 1995) was a South African rock singer, songwriter and performer.
Phillips grew up in the conservative East Rand mining town of Springs. Phillips discovered Rock n Roll and perhaps significantly the protest music of Bob Dylan the course of his life changed dramatically, in the late 1970s he formed his first band, Corporal Punishment with friends Carl Raubenheimer and Mark Bennet.

Die Antwoord

Formed in Cape Town, South Africa during Spring 2009, Die Antwoord is an afrikaans futuristic rap crew consisting of Ninja (Watkin Tudor "Waddy" Jones of MaxNormal.TV) and Yo-Landi Vi$$er. DJ Hi-Tek keeps the beats nice and dirty. The majority of their debut album, $O$, was released for free on the Internet in 2009 - Ninja also handed out free albums with hand-drawn artwork at live shows called $O$: Burnt By the Master.
