Mitchell Brennan

Mitchell Brennan is a noise artist based in Melbourne VIC. His current work is based in the manipulation and collage of recorded sounds as well as tapes, mics and ceramics. 2010 has seen Mitchell playing shows in Brisbane, Lismore, Newcastle, Sydney and Adelaide as well as Melbourne both solo and in collaboration. Ongoing collaborators include Fjorn Butler (Butler/Brennan Duo), Mark Skelton (Incompetent Cervix), Cooper Bowman (Mitchell Brennan & RSI), Lachlan Gale (Hrvatska) and Lara Soulio. Mitchell was also one-third of the now defunct Newcastle based trio Brassskulls.

Beyond the Valley are a 5 piece band based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The current line-up consists of Meghann Clancy (vocals, guitar, piano), Tania Hannon (lead guitar), Bryonie Danby (bass, guitar), Katie Hall (cello, backing vocals) and Sam Squires (drums).
The group formed in October 2008 and have since established solid footing in North East England's music scene.
All members are multi instrumentalists and have a varied number of influences including Sigur Ros, KT Tunstall, PJ Harvey, Jaquline Du Pres, Leonard Cohen and Courtney Love.

Kevin Ridley

For over thirty-five years Kevin Ridley has been involved in all aspects of music production, as a singer-songwriter, musician, engineer and record producer. He's now based in Gateshead but started out performing as a teenager in the pubs and clubs of his native Northumbria before moving to Newcastle in the 1980s. Here he trained as an engineer/producer at Impulse Studio – the home of NWOBHM label Neat Records – and worked with a range of artists from Lindisfarne to Venom; while continuing to write, record and tour his own material.
