Emergency Door Release

Built around the inspiration of many, EDR are setting new standards and expectations. The four piece indie pop rock band based in Newcastle-Upon Tyne have landed a host of performances and have
already been compared to bands such as The Smiths and The Police and don’t we know that’s a tall order? Damn right!.....but that won’t stop us trying...with catchy tunes, grooves and licks that raise the hairs on your neck you best bring a scarf... because you’re gonna shiver.

Stitched Vision

Stitched Vision is the project of Jason Campbell, formed in 2009, once global roamer now fringe-dwelling citizen of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. His pedal-heavy synthscapes are neither nostalgic nor futuristic, but rather channel the current plight of his city of residence, unfolding as explorations of urban decay and cultural regeneration. Understated melodies sheathed in - pitting the organic against the - mark Campbell's work and come to symbolise Newcastle

Ant & Dec

Anthony McPartlin (born 18 November 1975) and Declan Donnelly (born 25 September 1975), from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, are popular presenters of light entertainment television programmes in the United Kingdom, working together as the duo Ant and Dec. They first met on the set of the UK TV series Byker Grove, in which their characters formed a dance/rap group in around 1993. The duo soon scored a recording contract and left acting to perform under their character names as PJ & Duncan. The first song they performed on the show was included on the debut album Psyche!, and was called Tonight I'm Free.

Guessmen

Wafts of Voodoo Techno, stabs of electro blues, inner space sci-fi effects and thick synth melodies coming on like tar flavoured honey. The twisted
noir-pop of the Guessmen confounds expectations. Their recent album "Back From The Bins" has been hailed as a masterpiece by some and un-listenable by those of a delicate disposition. Whilst shifting
from gnarly hobo disco to jazz infused electro, the songs manage to hang together with enough identifiable cohesion to keep things from being on the wrong side of random, maintaining the all important GROOVE as the centre of their world.
