Massive Attack

The pioneering force behind the rise of trip-hop, Massive Attack were among the most innovative and influential groups of their generation; their hypnotic sound -- a darkly sensual and cinematic fusion of hip-hop rhythms, soulful melodies, dub grooves, and choice samples -- set the pace for much of the dance music to emerge throughout the 1990s, paving the way for such acclaimed artists as Portishead, Sneaker Pimps, Beth Orton, and Tricky, himself a Massive Attack alumnus.

There are several artists with that name. 1) Praxis was an ever-changing musical project led by prolific producer Bill Laswell. Praxis combined elements of different musical genres such as , , and into highly improvised music. The band first appeared in 1992 with the critically acclaimed Transmutation (Mutatis Mutandis), Laswell, guitarist Buckethead, keyboardist Bernie Worrell and drummer Bryan ''Brain'' Mantia have defined the direction of the band over the last 15 years.

Decoder Ring was formed in 2001, in Sydney, Australia. Original line-up consisted of Matt Fitzgerald ( keyboards, guitar) Geoff Towner (bass, El Mopa), Pete Kelly (guitar, Sea Life Park), Kenny Davis Jr (keyboards, piano, The Jackson Code, The Blackeyed Susans) & Thomas Schutzinger (drums). Original line-up recorded the EP "Spooky Action at a Distance" (2002) and album "Decoder Ring" (2002). Geoff Towner departed in 2003 and was replaced by Ben Ely (Regurgitator).

1. Dov is the person behind many of the past decades most dynamic underground labels incuding his own imprint: Muti Music, which has itself help define a whole new sound of the west coast.
Dov's music / DJ sets, ranges from urban bass driven breakbeats, mid-tempo, chill or crunky dancefloor bits to chunky four to the floor tracks that often still manage to sound a little broken with a somewhat 'garage' feel to them.

create a multi-layered live sound. Their production is influenced pretty heavily by guys like Tipper, Bassnectar and the more recent glitch hoppers,
as well as traditional samplers like anyone from Ninja Tune.... Punk band from London, UK. Active from 1977-1978. Released one single No Excuse / Interrogation on Diesel Records in 1978.

Cut Chemist

Cut Chemist is the performing name of Lucas MacFadden, a solo turntablist. He is a former member of the funk Latin band Ozomatli, and of the underground rap group Jurassic 5. He became known through the Los Angeles-based rap group Unity Committee, and debuted on vinyl on the B-Side of Unity Committee's 1993 single, Unified Rebelution. The track, "Lesson 4: The Radio" was an ovation of Double Dee and Steinski's seminal hip-hop masterpieces, "Lessons 1-3."

Edwards decided to shorten her name to Skye by taking the first letter of each of her names (Shirley Klarisse Yonavive) and putting them together. She has also sung on two charity collaborations, Perfect Day 1997, in aid of BBC Children in Need and Band Aid 20, in 2004, in aid of famine relief in Sudan, Africa. Edwards has two children, a son and a daughter.
