ButterClock is a young Parisian who makes some great downtempo along the lines of The XX or Bat For Lashes. It’s atmospheric and slow and very French, though according to Facebook they’re a «gathering of creatures from Nevada». ButterClock takes you off on a blurred red wine coma of journey that leaves you curled up asleep in the back of a deserted theatre, the strains of the sub base from next doors club filtering through the dusty walls.
Cut Off Your Hands is: Nick Johnston (vocals), Jonathan Lee (guitar), Philip Hadfield (bass), and Elroy Finn (drums). Their self produced debut EP "Shaky Hands" was released in August 2006 on Speak N Spell, and includes the singles "You and I" and "Expectations". Formerly known as Shaky Hands, the band decided to change their name due to a threat of legal action from a similarly-named American band (The Shaky Hands). As their EP was intended to be titled "Cut Off Your Hands", they simply decided to switch their artist name with the EP title.
Daniel “Diggy” Simmons, III born March 21, 1995 is the second son and fourth oldest in the growing Simmons family. Diggy is starting his own clothing and shoe line originally called “Space Age” but changed due to legal reasons to “Space Cadet” and is currently called "Chivalrous Culture", starting in 2009, along with his mentor Pharrell Williams. Diggy for the most part of 2009 has also been working on his new mixtape FIRST FLIGHT. With help from producer Neako and DJ Spin King.
