Lee Fields

Lee Fields (b. Wilson, NC, USA - as one of four children), is currently leader of Lee Fields & The Expressions, which released My World (2009). Lee spent his adolescence singing in church & listening to rnb, from the likes of: James Brown, The Temptations, Eddie Floyd, Otis Redding & the 60s Memphis sound. He joined a few of the South's racial balance groups & began playing college circuits, inc' East Carolina University, Duke University & Georgia Tech.

The Haggis Horns

The Haggis Horns are an eight piece live funk extravaganza combining heavy breakbeat funk, soul, hip-hop and afrobeat with the virtuosity of trained jazz musicians. The members have performed and recorded with many top artists including: The Cinematic Orchestra, Lou Donaldson, Nightmares on Wax, Roots Manuva, Mark Ronson, Stuart Zender (Jamiroqui's bassist), Corinne Bailey Rae, Snowboy, Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Odyssey, Martina Topley-Bird, Lily Allen, Candie Payne and Amy Winehouse.

The Liberators

There are at least two bands under this name. A Dutch rock band and a Australian afrobeat-centered act. - The Liberators was a band from the southern Dutch province Limburg and based in the city of Maastricht.
The band existed from 1979 until 1992 playin' all over Europe. Concerts from Bergen (Norway) all the way down to the Canarian Island and worldfamoust in Maastricht. The band made three albums for Polydor, and the Belgium KKRecords.

The Bamboos

There are two Australian bands with this name. The first is Australia’s premier Deep Funk outfit. Masters of super-heavy, raw and upfront drum-break driven grooves. Led by Guitarist Lance Ferguson (Equatorial Records/Lanu/No Comply), other members include Ben Grayson (Hammond Organ), Danny Farrugia (Drums), Yuri Pavlinov (Bass), Anton Delecca (Sax/Flute) and Ross Irwin (Trumpet). The Bamboos formed in 2001 and released the 7” single ‘Eel Oil/Blackfoot’, earning them international acclaim from the likes of Snowboy, Mr Scruff, Jazzanova, Patrick Forge and Russ Dewbury.

Robin S

Robin S. (born Robin Stone on April 27, 1962) is a singer-songwriter from Queens, New York, United States who scored success in the 1990s with such hit singles as "Show Me Love" (which was her debut single and a #1 Club hit) and "Luv 4 Luv." A house diva whose productions use live instrumentation just as much as electronics, Robin S. debuted with the Top Ten hit "Show Me Love." The Queens, NY native was signed by Big Beat Records in 1993, and debuted with the hot single, which climbed the charts during 1994, and spurred her first album, also titled Show Me Love.

Baby Charles' music is inspired by the late-sixties sounds from the likes of The J.B.s and The Meters.
They released two 45s: 'No Controlling Me' and 'Back of My Hand', in 2006 and 2007 respectively for which they received immediate praise from the highest ranking funk djs including: Snowboy, Keb Darge, Jazzman Gerald, Monk One, Andy Smith and were invited to record six tracks live in session for Mark Lammar's 'Gods Jukebox' show on Radio 2.
