Drive Like Casey

Made up of metal heads, piss heads, comic geeks and political freaks Drive like Casey first smacked onto the scene as "Leon" in 2001. Dave Iles, Spike, Dan Jack and Nick Saunders rocked and rolled as a raw four piece indie-rock outfit. After a year or so of gigging it became apparent that "more guitar!" was wanted and so Boulder was drafted in to take his rightful place at their sides. The philosophy was that since Boulder had joined, they were no longer Leon anymore (coupled with the fact that the name was pretty popular with other bands too...) they decided on a change... Drive like Casey.

Three piece scuzzy melodic grunge outfit from Glasgow, Scotland. Third Man Theme

Third Man Theme make music that blends together their different musical interests, including Talking Heads, Can, Neu!, The Beach Boys, The Modern Lovers, Spiritualized, and Lizzy Mercier Descloux. The result is sometimes (post-)punky, sometimes drony, sometimes edgy, sometimes sweet, sometimes all at once. Their debut EP, Tears on Tate, was released in July 2011. "The trio play mesmerising new-wave and kraut-rock influenced tunes which purr with a bittersweet pop sensibility - the songs are by their nature repetitively and intensely driven but with twinges of melody that make it cohesive...

Beat Ratio

Beat Ratio is a London based solo artist producing focused electro-pop tunes with an old school approach. Working exclusively on cassette, from the initial ideas to the final masters, he uses the limitations imposed by tape as an incentive for creativity and a way to escape the perfectionism of music software. Funky beats, synth-pop and traditional songwriting are all processed through a DIY blender in an attempt to produce music with which to recapture a time, not long ago, when "less was more".

[we are] the end

Manchester based alt-rockers [ we are ] the end are a breath of fresh air in a scene long stagnant with clichés and carbon copy emo shenanigans! Melding powerful riffs, electronica, layered vocal harmonies, gentle introspection and sonic grooves, they are readying themselves for an all out assault on the music scene. Formed from the ashes of the acclaimed band Hollywood Ending (who enjoyed a brief burst of attention with their 2004 album 'Praying To Fiction' on Mighty Atom Records), We Are The End are a step further into the musical landscape.

Lets get something straight before we start; An epic, exciting, unusual or even interesting tale leading to the formation of Aristocrats would be a filthy collection of lies so we won't go there. The real story involves a few bored, energetic and enthusiastic boys meeting on t'internet and through friends. In the years of 2005-07 Aristocrats experimented with several useable but unexciting lineups.
