Pink Freud

In 1998, four young and open-minded musicians from Gdańsk formed a group, which would explore new areas of improvisation. They named it Pink Freud.
Pink Freud is an improvising trio. Its music is fresh and modern; inspired by jazz, rock, folk, jungle, drum'n'bass etc.
Pink Freud demands audience's sensitivity and concentration. Musicians play subtle tunes fully aware of their music. In 1998, Gdansk was a center of yass music; trend impressing Poland with great influence in 19ties. Pink Freud however turned its back to this tradition and recorded debut album "Zawijassy".

Sing Sing Penelope

Sing Sing Penelope is preparing now the third album`s premiere.
It`s titled "We Remember Krzeselko". It`s going to be released on 25.02.2008. Listen to the music from the album and see the video... The band established in Bydgoszcz (Poland) in year 2000 by young musicians playing in important polish and european jazz,free jazz, avant-garde and postrock formations. Connecting theirs experience and musical background, they created a new and interesting modern electro-acoustic style and musical language.

SenSorry

Labelling Sensorry might become a tough deal. Their combination of rock,
pop, funk, improvisation and jazz sounds is so unique and therefore quite
difficult to tag anyhow. I guess, they sound like …….. Sensorry.

Baaba

Baaba – band from Warsaw founded some time ago by Bartek Webber. In the beginning Baaba was Webber’s solo electronic project
but in the course of time it has changed into a regular band. Today Baaba is one of the most crazy improvising band i n Poland. The

Kury

Kury (Hens) is a Polish yass band formed in June 1992 by Tymon Tymański. The original line-up was Tymon Tymański (bass and vocals), Jacek Olter (drums) and Piotr Pawlak (guitar). Kury have also cooperated with Mazzoll, Kuba Staruszkiewicz, Jacek Stromski, Anna Lasocka and DJ Scissorkicks (the album "100 lat undergroundu"). In 1998 Kury recorded the appraised album "P.O.L.O.V.I.R.U.S." (Frederyk Prize winner), regarded by critics as one of the most important Polish albums of the 90's.

Yeshe

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Yeshe is a world nomad having lived in over 20 countries and embedding himself in their music and culture. His first solo album is titled World CitiZen. Born in West Germany, Yeshe was passionately interested in other cultures, especially Africa, from early childhood. As a young teenager Yeshe became involved in the flourishing 70s African music scene and by the age of 14 Yeshe was performing with a variety of percussion ensembles.
