In late 1968, David Bowie briefly led a trio called Feathers, which also included his girlfriend Hermione Fatheringale on vocals and guitar, and guitarist John "Hutch" Hutchinson (who had played with Bowie in 1966 as part of the Buzz). More folk-rockish than other Bowie endeavors before or since, they were a multi-media group that, in addition to performing songs by Bowie and Jacques Brel, used tape recordings and mime.

They have been on the biggest European rock festivals such as P&L, PiP, West Coast Riot, Azkena Rock Spain, and more.
There were two groups called The Chords. 1. The British mod-revival band called The Chords consisted of Chris Pope, Martin Mason, Billy Hassett, and Brett Ascott. The Chords story starts with cousins Billy Hassett and Martin Mason rehearsing Beatles and Who songs, etc, together at school. Via a New Musical Express advert Chris Pope joins in January 1978. They spend the year writing, rehearsing and playing a couple of gigs. They also fail to become the band in Quadrophenia - too loud apparently!.
