Who are MDV? - AMF 68

No lazy assumptions are to be made when describing the music of MDV. The qualities gracing this conscious London based reggae band has granted them the favour of always having kept their art relevant to modern times whilst still preserving an original sound. MDV's musical expression is a promise of love and light to those demanding refreshing change and for those who miss that feel-good rush when faced with the fortunate onslaught of good, real reggae music.

Skipping Girl Vinegar

Skipping Girl Vinegar are a 4-piece acoustic indie band based in Melbourne, Australia. Their music spans country, folk, indie rock and pop and comprise of Mark Lang (vocals/guitar), Chris Helm (drums/backing vocals), Sare Lang (bass/backing vocals) and Amanthi Lynch (keyboards). Beginning in 2006 with an extensive original repertoire established before playing live, they soon garnered several support slots including Bob Evans, The Lemonheads, The Shout Out Louds and Something For Kate, which, along with relentless gigging, saw their first single, 'One Chance' gain national airplay in mid-2007.

In a rare meeting backstage at Cincinnati’s Music Hall, music legend, Prince asked singer/songwriter, Mark Lorenzo, “Do you believe the cream will rise to the top?...” After responding that he did, Prince continued, “...Then you have nothing to worry about.” After that meeting, things have really taken off for Lorenzo. Currently, the band is touringin support of their national EO Records / Universal Records release, “Love Shape Bruise.

In 2003 Ben Abraham decided he never wanted to sing again. The stunning career choice came after years of musical insecurity and tireless efforts to impress people; performing renditions of other people's songs he was told were cool at the time. Content with leaving the dream of music behind, Ben turned instead to his screenwriting studies and fell in love with the art of film and the power of story.

Prince Alla aka Prince Allah or Ras Allah (b. Keith Blake, 10 May 1950, Denham Town, Kingston, Jamaica) is a roots reggae singer whose career began in the 1960s, and has continued with a string of releases into the 2000s. Biography
Blake's career began in the vocal group The Leaders with Milton Henry and Roy Palmer, who recorded three tracks for producer Joe Gibbs in the late 1960s. When The Leaders broke up, Blake continued to work with Gibbs, who issued his debut solo release, "Woo Oh Oh".

There is more than one artist under this name: 1. Loren (Lorenzo Arias) is a MC from Barcelona, Spain and a former member of abstract hip-hop band Magnatiz (previously known as Muerte Acustica). 2. Loren is an Australian singer/songwriter. Down to earth and humble, Loren is a hard-working troubadour revealing a musical ambition that dazzles. Courtesy of five releases and a huge live presence, he is a testament to what one can create within an independent music scene. Constant touring from Loren as a solo artist at the beginning of his career saw his fanbase and reputation steadily build.
