Colin Murray

Colin Murray (born March 10, 1977) is a BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Five Live DJ and television presenter from the Dundonald area of east Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The new late night show began on 25 September 2006 and includes a mix of New Music and alternative classics. Features include the College Drop in, The Black Hole of Radio 1, Free Association and Four Reasons Why. The show is usually live, unless Murray does a football match on Five, when he usually tapes the radio show.

Old Radio

Old Radio are a five-piece ska punk band from Liverpool, blending a varying wealth of influences into one semi-coherent racket. Old Radio started loosely at the end of 2010 and released a sold out E.P by the summer of 2011. The band are currently working on new material ready for release at the end of 2012. Old Radio was also an indie-shoegaze band from Denver, Colorado which in 2010 changed their name to Amazing Twin

Flying Pickets

The Flying Pickets is a British a cappella vocal group, that had a surprise number one hit in 1983 in the UK singles chart, with their cover of Yazoo's track Only You. The name 'Flying Pickets' refers to mobile strikers who travel in order to join a picket. The group of six was founded by Brian Hibbard in 1982 by a group of actors , the "7:84 Theatre group", a fringe theatre group who had sung a capella in their production of One Big Blow, based on the 1984 UK miners' strike.

Marti

Marti is the brain child of songwriter and actor Andrea Bruschi. Their debut album 'Unmade Beds' is a 12 song affair. The songs were composed in Andrea's bedroom where he keeps his Fender Rhodes.
The album has been artistically produced by italian songwriter/producer Paolo Benvegnu' and Andrea Franchi for Swiss company Wildside Media and Italian Greenfog Records.
European music, New wave, 80's technopop, cabaret, musicals and torch songs artists are the main influences.

Owls

Since their early high school days in 1989, the members of Owls -- Tim Kinsella , Mike Kinsella , Victor Villarreal, and Sam Zurick -- have been playing together in some form or another. They had their greatest success as Cap'n Jazz, a screamy emo/hardcore act that also included The Promise Ring's Davey von Bohlen during its later days. The group's youthful exuberance was intense, but things ran their course and they disbanded in 1994.

Desaparecidos

Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.
