Paul Woolford

Paul Woolford is a UK dance music producer and DJ who also uses alias Bobby Peru, such as on the underground hit Erotic Discourse. Woolford grew up in Leeds where he was inspired by legendary club night Back to Basics, eventually becoming a resident there. He was also a sometime resident of Space in Ibiza.

Frankie Knuckles

Frankie Knuckles (born January 18, 1955, in New York City) is a DJ, producer and remix artist. He has earned the appellation "The Godfather of House." While studying Textile Design at FIT in Manattan, Knuckles began working as a DJ. He played soul, disco and R&B at The Continental Baths with fellow-DJ Larry Levan. Shortly after this, he began to gain notoriety and played at Better Days. When the Warehouse opened in Chicago in 1977 he was invited to play on a regular basis. He continued DJing there until 1982, at which point he started his own club, The Power Plant.

Nursery Of Naughtiness

Nursery OF Naughtiness (N.o.N) are a hard hitting live electronic/breaks act signed to the London based label Exceptional Records (Rogue Element, Culprit 1, Ken Ishi, 10 Rapid) . Heavy beats, distorted wailing synths , loud guitars and angry vocals dominate their tracks, however they are no one trick pony and have teamed up with a number of female vocalists to produce more melodic driven tunes. Over the course of 3 years they have had a number of high profile releases out and been remixed from the likes of Far Too Loud, Rogue Element and Run Riot.

The Coup

The Coup is a group based in Oakland, California. It formed as a three-member group in 1992 with rappers (Raymond) Boots Riley and E-Roc along with DJ Pam the Funkstress. E-Roc left on amicable terms after the group's second album, but appears on the track "Breathing Apparatus" on The Coup's third album, Steal This Album. The group is now a duo. The Coup, part of the sub-genre of political hip hop, is politically radical and Marxist in their music, and align themselves with other radical hip-hop groups like dead prez.

Labrinth

Timothy McKenzie, better known by stage alias Labrinth, is a British rapper, singer-songwriter and producer signed to Simon Cowell's Syco music label. He rose to national fame in 2010 with his chart-topping collaboration with Tinie Tempah - Pass Out - and his following #2 hit Frisky. Let The Sun Shine, Labrinth's debut solo single, was released on September 27th 2010 and debuted at #3 on the UK Singles Chart after a highly publicised chart battle with long-time collaborator Tinie Tempah. His debut album, currently untitled, is projected for release later this year.

Mutya Buena

Singer Mutya Buena is one of the original members of the British group Sugababes, which she co-founded in 1998. She left the group in late 2005 and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Mutya released her debut solo album Real Girl in June 2007. The album features collaborations with George Michael, Amy Winehouse, and Groove Armada. The first single, the album's title track Real Girl entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 11 on downloads alone, climbing to No.2 after its physical release date.
