Bill Brewster

English DJ, writer and musical bon vivant; best known for his 2002 double-disc compilation "Praxis" and his books "How To DJ (Properly)" and "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life" (with Frank Broughton). As well as running several labels - 5XO-294, Sugar Daddy Records (in New York) and Twisted United Kingdom and Forensic Records (in the UK) - he also ran the DMC New York office for two years. Bill now runs the DJ History website.

Scope is Irish based DJ & Producer Ric McClelland Inspered by the "proper" House sound and artists such as Kerri Chandler through to Funk D'Void, his sound as Scope is clearly focused on grooves & melody. Scope's arrival on the global House scene was marked early in 2007 with his debut "Strung Out" ep on Urbantorque, which received massive support across the board. DJ, Producer, Remixer and Label Owner Stu Hirst has firmly established himself as one of the UK's most exciting talents in recent years, with a string of underground hits and remixes on a variety of leading electronic labels. Machines do speak a language understood and appreciated by humans. Measured by the success of Skudge, an artistic duo that has delivered a lot in a very short time. Combining their inspiration and talent through wires and analogue equipment, they seem to always present something new - in a very faithful style. What remains most significant on their output through the main label Skudge Records, as well as their remix material present on a row of different labels, it must be their exceptional sense of loops and unexpected detail in their productions.

Kenny Hawkes

DJ/Producer Kenny Hawkes has been a pioneering influence on the British dance scene for 20 years. As a kid growing up in Brighton, Kenny soaked up the sounds of Motown, Ska, Hip Hop, Dub Reggae. As soon as he hit 18 he disappeared off to Southern Europe, where he spent endless hours developing his DJ skills by playing at some of Europe's most notorious after hours clubs. He returned home in the early 90s, skint and unknown, and stumbled across a Pirate Radio Station called ‘Girls FM’.

Nubreed, a 'Nu Skool Breaks' band based in Melbourne, Australia is made up of Jase, Myke and Db. Know for their dynamic live shows and a style that pushes the boundries. Nubreed draw on a wide range of influences like old skool jazz, neo-tech, funk, breaks, hip hop and drum and bass. They are seen as a band rather than a group, as they MC and sing on their tracks and due to their wide influences, they have a sound more like a band.

Musician and composer Jimi Tenor has never settled for the traditional role of a pop artist. He is known as a productive musician whose work lies beyond current trends, and also as a performer who combines the finest elements of afro-american music, spontaneous silliness and shameless glamour in an original way. Besides being a professional musician for almost 20 years, Jimi Tenor (born Lassi Lehto, 1965, Lahti, Finland) has also practised photography, directed short films and designed clothes and musical instruments.
