There is more than one band by the name Deceptor: 1). Deceptor was a Heavy/Power Metal band from Greece. Forming in 1989, they annually released demos until 1991, and split up some time after. While their work remains relatively unheard of to this day, a compilation entitled 'The Legend' was released on Unisound in 2002, citing everything recorded in their late-eighties/early-nineties period. Their vocalist, Yiannis Koutselinis (commonly known as John K) went on to record an album with British Progressive Metal group Balance of Power, and then went on to form Biomechanical.

(1) Formed in 1985 in Preston, Lancashire, British thrashers Xentrix (pronounced Zen-tricks) began their careers by playing metal covers before focusing all of their efforts on coming up with original material. Initially known as Sweet Vengeance, guitarist/vocalist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, drummer Dennis Gasser and bassist Paul Mackenzie created enough of a stir through their live performances that the English branch of Roadrunner Records took notice and signed the group in January 1989.

Savage Messiah hails from London UK and features Lead Guitarist/Vocalist Dave Silver, Lead Guitarist Sy Taplin, Bassist Sasha Cron and Drummer Ernie Nogara. In October 2007 the band released their Andy Faulkner (Bolt Thrower, Siam) produced debut "Spitting Venom". The band opted to release this via their own imprint SMR productions, which was signed up for distribution by the mighty Plastic Head (Nuclear Blast, Metal Blade etc…).

Bastion is the name of an Xbox Live Arcade game produced by independent developer Supergiant Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Bastion was released on July 20, 2011 for Xbox Live Arcade and on August 16, 2011 for digital download on Windows. Bastion has been acclaimed for its enchanting soundtrack, receiving best Original Soundtrack and Best Song with Build that Wall (Zia's Theme) awards from Spike's Video Game awards. The soundtrack was composed by audio and music designer Darren Korb.
