Barrington Levy (born April 30, 1964) is a reggae and dancehall artist. He was born in Clarendon, Jamaica and soon formed a band with his cousin, Everton Dacres, called the Mighty Multitude; the pair released "My Black Girl" in 1977. Levy established his solo career the next year with "A Long Time Since We Don't Have No Love"; though the single was a failure, the fourteen year old was a popular performer at Jamaican dancehalls.

Ernest Ranglin

Ernest Ranglin (born June 19, 1932) is a famous Jamaican guitarist. As a child, Ranglin played ukulele, then guitar in his teen years. Charlie Christian was an early influence. Ranglin played on many classic recordings, with Jimmy Cliff, Monty Alexander, Prince Buster, The Skatalites, and others. Ranglin toured extensively with the Eric Deans Orchestra, one of the top bands in the Caribbean. In 1958, Chris Blackwell recorded a Ranglin single; it was the first Island Records release.

Juicy was an American R&B band active throughout the 1980's, founded by the brother and sister duo Jerry and Katreese Barnes.
