Julian Plenti

Interpol's lead singer and guitarist Paul Banks released a solo album under the name Julian Plenti, and has written and performed under the Plenti moniker for several years, according to a source close to the situation. While the album was recorded recently, some of the songs were written more than ten years ago. He's done a lot of work with Niall Darcy, with whom there has been a long time mutual admiration.

The group of friends felt that Ska music needed to be dragged kicking and screaming into the next millennium if it was ever going to haul itself out of the underground, where it had been left to fester since the end of the Two-Tone Era.

Niall Horan

Niall Horan (born 13th September 1993) is a 20-year old boy from Mullingar, Ireland. He is a member of a five-piece boyband, One Direction (formed in 2010). Before he competed in the UK and Ireland singing competition "The X Factor", he played numerous gigs around the country including as a support act for Lloyd Daniels (in Dublin). He then took up the challenge of applying to the X Factor 2010 whereby he entered as a solo artist.

The Brights

The Brights formed in Febuary 2003. Since the band formed they have made a big impact, playing gigs around the country, and in particular on the London music scene. After circulating several copies of their first demo 'Mother, I Don't Belong Here', recognition quickly followed. This led to the bands first release; 'Girl in a Bric-a-Brac Shop' in October 2004 on the independent label Bitterscene Records, which received airplay on Radio 1 by the late John Peel and on Xfm, as well as several other regional stations.

Formed in Southend, Essex, Baddies released their debut single 'Battleships' in October 2008. With glowing reviews from all possible press outlets and relentlessly brilliant live shows, both in the UK and throughout Europe, Baddies were picked by NME, MTV, Clash and many more as tips for 2009. Having recorded their debut album at Rockfield Studios in Wales with Sean Genockey, Baddies will be playing shows and festivals throughout Europe this summer. The Strange Death of Liberal England is a five-piece post-rock/indie band from Portsmouth, England. They have gained praise from many different publications and have been compared to artists such as The Arcade Fire and And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead and supported of Montreal on their UK tour.
