Parabellum

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Parabellum from Colombia. Being formed in 1981 Parabellum is referred to as the first extreme metal band from Colombia, and one of the first in South America. Unbelievably evil stuff somewhere between Hellhammer, Sarcofago, Poison (GER) and Bathory, but even more dirty and vicious with some spine-chilling doom parts. Had a couple of EPs in the 80-s, and in 2005 a compilation, called Tempus Mortis was released.

Beefy

Hailing from the Northwest, Beefy is a massive presence in the nerdcore hip-hop scene. Nick Parker

Nick Parker was 13 when he first picked up a guitar and tried to string together a few chords. By 14 he had put down the guitar and picked up the mandolin. Not least of all because he wanted to be in his brother, Ant’s band and they needed a mandolin player. The first few gigs came and went, under the name ‘The Mandolin Brothers’ (genius) before they changed their name to ‘Why?’ (equally genius) and they spent the next 10 years bouncing around on stages at hundreds of venues around the UK and Europe...

1) Houses is an anonymous lo-fi electronic duo out of Chicago, Illinois. They are signed to Lefse Records. 2) Houses is also an alternative pop band from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They've released an EP with 5 songs called End Of Story in march 2010. 3) Houses is a psychedelic rock and roll revival 7 piece from Denver, Colorado. They released 3 EPs in 2009 (Spring EP, Summer EP, Fall EP) and are currently recording a full length.

There are two artists that go by the name of 'Counterpoise' (1) An Amsterdam based hip-hop collective formed by Lirx and L-Deep in 2006. The first album contains collaborations with Kain Slim, Feline, Laurrhie Brouns, Robian, Juiceisdunaam, Maestro Mikel and Surya. The album features beats from producers like FS Green, DJ Bobafatt, Neenah, Trackstar and Reckon and is downloadable for free at www.cpoise.com.

The Crowns

Free tracks can be downloaded at The Crowns website. Established in the heart of Amsterdam, The Crowns were built on the foundations of Dutch liberty and freedom. A shared passion for truly handcrafted music and a free environment strongly conductive to creativity led Valentine (vocals), Thomas (guitar) and Alex (keys) to craft the first royal rock prototype.
