Chicken Shack

Chicken Shack are a British blues band, founded in the 1965 by Stan Webb (guitar and vocals), Andy Silvester (bass guitar), and Alan Morley (drums), who were later joined by Christine Perfect (vocals and keyboards) in 1968. Front man and guitarist Stan Webb was born in London in 1946. The group began their blues playing on the Blue Horizon label in a similar style to the early Fleetwood Mac. Singer Christine Perfect left after marrying John McVie (bassist) with Fleetwood Mac. Christine later joined Fleetwood Mac in their second reincarnation.

Dave Pegg

Dave Pegg (born David Pegg, 2 November 1947 in Acocks Green, Birmingham, England) is a bass guitarist/multi-instrumentalist. He found fame with, first, the Ian Campbell Folk Group and then with Fairport Convention. After playing guitar in school bands, he became a professional musician in the mid 1960s. He failed an audition as guitarist with The Uglys, a Birmingham-based rock band led by Steve Gibbons, but was offered the job of bass guitarist.

Current band members are, PJ Wright (slide guitar and vocals), Guy Fletcher (violin and vocals), Gareth Turner (melodian and vocals), Hugh Bunker (bass and vocals) and Mark Stevens (drums and vocals). Previous band mambers are Miranda Sykes (bass) and Trevor Foster (drums).
