Benny Anderssons Orkester

Benny Anderssons Orkester (BAO) is a Swedish band, with ex-ABBA member Benny Andersson as musical leader and composer. The band was formed in mid 2001 by 16 people, some from Orsa Spelmän, and Helen Sjöholm and since 2006 Tommy Körberg as singer. The name literally means Benny Andersson's Orchestra or The Benny Andersson Orchestra. BAO includes some of Swedens most experienced contemporary and folk musicians: * Benny Andersson - accordion, piano, synclavier etc.

The Kathryn Tickell Band

In 1990, Kathryn Tickell (an English player of the Northumbrian smallpipes and fiddle) formed the Kathryn Tickell Band. As of 2005, the band consisted of Peter Tickell (Fiddle & guitar), Julian Sutton (Melodeon), Ian Stephenson (Guitar, acoustic bass guitar), and Kathryn Tickell (Northumbrian Pipes and Fiddle). Most recently, Ian Stephenson has been succeeded by Joss Clapp on guitar & acoustic bass guitar.

Brina

Brina is probably the best slovenian etno-jazz band. They have already released 2 albums: Mlado leto (2004) and Pasja legenda (2006). The frontwoman, singer and the heart of the band is Brina Vogelnik; other band members are Jelena Ždrale (violin), Blaž Celarec (percussion), Nino De Gleria (contrabass), Drago Ivanuša (acorrdeon), Luka Ropret (electric quitar).
