Orders of The British Empire

Orders of the British Empire (O.B.E) formed in the early stages of 2009. The group’s dynamic was finally established with James Griffiths, Chris Pickering, Taro Saotome and Dan White and they are based in London town. They are an instrumental, experimental post-rock band whom harness the zeitgeist through sweeping sound-scapes that range from the temperate to the tempestuous, they weave an affluent sonic tapestry of epic proportions. The band have already received great support from friends country-wide, and the summer of 2009 will signal their accession on the live circuit.

Artist Type:

Any O'Neill

A Londoner from an Irish background, Any O'Neill is a singer and multi-instrumentalist, writing Aggressive Indie-Polk. Indie-Polk, for the uninitiated is the right mix of Indie, Folk and Punk coupled with orchestral elements. Lyrically, he meanders between 'teen uprising' and 'scolding generations gone' to 'rose tinted reality' and 'broken promises'. On stage he's accompanied by full band though on the recordings all the instruments are played by himself.

Marseille Figs

"Marseille Figs produce a sordid amalgam of inebriated bubblegum, hi-tone honky tonk, tin pan alley, free jazz and punk. Melodic, chaotic, and sometimes ha-ha funny, their repertoire includes flophouse ballads, big booming piledrivers and lost soul singalongs." Marseille Figs are:
J. Maizlish
Dorian McFarland
Tom Chant

The Fierce & The Dead

The Fierce & The Dead is the brainchild of Matt Stevens (guitars) Kev Feazey (bass) and Stuart Marshall (drums), a trio of friends who have been playing together for more than ten years, helping each other in different bands, and also as solo artists. This project actually was created after a recording session which was intended to be part of a Matt Stevens' solo album, but they decided to create a new band with an own style and sound.

Artist Type:

Squirrel Skin Slippers

The Squirrel Skin Slippers are a rough n tumble Mr & Mrs originating from the bone-rattling mythical antipodes of New Zealand. Their metamorphosis into a gut punchin garage music beast started back in ‘06 when they began smashing pot lids together and howling like a drunk mule. Like their marriage, the Squirrel Skin Slippers music is as straight talkin as it gets. Their sound is like a primal, foot stomping, eye squinting, amped up yet stripped down blend of illegal liquor...
