The band is in the midst of writing material for an album as well as honing their live performances with which they hope to add a more visual element to their shows. The sound of Man Ray Sky live can be an intense affair, with melodic lullabies brushing up against experimental noise pieces; the two opposing but strangely complementary sides of Man Ray Sky.
Droptear Modelmaker are a collective of musicians that play an eclectic mix of ambient electronica and breakbeat with a good measure of dub/chillout thrown in. Starting with an almost purely electronic full length album "mannequin", the band moved to a more instrument based sound on the three track EP "extended play" including trumpet and bass alongside drum machines and synths. The aim of Droptear Modelmaker's live show is to play their brand of ambient electronica, whilst keeping a live, organic feel to the music.

Swanston is made up of Grice Peters (Lead vocals, guitars) Jim Peters (Keys, flute, vocals) and Dave Costello (Bass, vocals) and was formed in Devon, UK. Swanston take their name from a dilapidated but much loved Georgian mansion in deepest Devon. This is where much of the band's early material was written and recorded, including their stunning concept album 'Glorious Swanston'. This was recorded in one mammoth session!
Asthmatic Astronaut has been released by Tru Thoughts, Wah Wah 45s and has appeared on both volumes of the Stac remixes
alongside luminaries such as Bonobo, Blue Daisy and Kid Kanevil. Originally discovered by Japanese label
De:jine Records, he went on to tour with the consciously positive live-rap extravaganza Underling, playing
with everyone from El-P, Roots Manuva, Mike Ladd and Aesop Rock to DJ Vadim.
