MUTEMATH is an alternative rock band which formed in New Orleans, LA, United States in 2003. They consist of Paul Meany (vocals, keytar, keyboards, samples), Roy Mitchell-Cárdenas (bass, percussion), Darren King (drums, samples), and Todd Gummerman (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). Since MUTEMATH released its first EP in late 2004 and hit the road in 2005, their inherent nature has challenged limitations and expanded parameters.

Frontman Shaun Sundholm was bored with music, therefore he and drummer Jeremy Atrick and guitarist Sammy Lugosi formed to play around with elements of glam rock and punk. Thomas Demise was brought on board to play bass when The Deadlines revamped for more of a rock-based growl, whereas keyboardist the Creature completed the five-piece.

Skillet is an American rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of all Christian members. Skillet formed in 1996 with two members: John Cooper, former vocalist for Tennessee progressive rock band Seraph, and Ken Steorts, former guitarist for Urgent Cry. The two bands met through touring together, but those bands disbanded soon after, so John and Ken's pastor encouraged them to form their own band as a side-project.

1) Krush were a successful dance music outfit who had a major crossover hit with "House Arrest (The Beat Is Law)" in 1987. The group consisted of artists Mark Gamble, Cassius Campbell and producers Mark Brydon and Robert Gordon. Their second single "Walking On Sunshine" was a club hit in 1992. The featured vocalist on both of these tracks was Ruth Joy. Brydon continued his success by later working as a producer with house act Moloko.
