Dick Gaughan

Dick Gaughan (Richard Peter Gaughan )(b. 17 May 1948) is a Scottish musician, singer, and songwriter. He was born in Glasgow's Rottenrow Maternity Hospital, because his father was working in Glasgow as an engine driver. He spent the first one and a half years of his life in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, a suburb of Glasgow, after which the whole family moved to Leith, a port on the outskirts of Edinburgh. He has never returned to Rutherglen, and is proud to be a Leither. His mother was a Macdonald from Lochaber, and was a native speaker of Gaelic.

Justin Currie

Justin Currie (born December 11, 1964 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK) is a Scottish singer and songwriter, best known as the founder member of the successful band Del Amitri and, along with Iain Harvie, is one of only two members of the group to be present throughout its entire existence. In 2003 he fronted the soul and jazz covers band Button Up for a short tour of Scotland together with The Proclaimers guitarist Stuart Nisbet and drummer Ross McFarlane - who also played with chart-toppers Stiltskin - bassist Gary John Kane and keyboard player Andy May.

The Suzukis

The Suzukis are a UK rock band based in Wigan. Band members are Chris Veasey (vocals), Adam Bamford (guitar), Robert Warnes (bass) and Stuart Robinson (drums). They started touring in 2005 and signed to the Sony/Columbia "indie" label imprint Deltasonic (home of The Zutons, The Coral and The Dead 60's amongst others). Following support slots with various labelmates and most notably, The Fall in January 2006, the band virtually fell off the radar but released their debut Reducer 4-track EP in July 2007.

The Skids

The Skids were a punk band formed in Dunfermline, Scotland by Stuart Adamson (on guitars, vocals, keyboards, percussion), Richard Jobson ( vocals, guitar, keyboards), Thomas Kellichan (drums) and William Simpson (bass guitar, vocals) in 1977. They signed to Virgin and issued "Sweet Suburbia" and "The Saints Are Coming" before shooting to popularity with top ten single "Into The Valley", from their first album "Scared to Dance". Both Dunfermline Athletic FC and Charlton Athletic FC use "Into the Valley" as a theme song. Read more on Last.fm

Spyamp

Spyamp are a four piece rock band from Dundee. Debut album 'GTi' was released on Pet Piranha Records in 2005 and a new one is due out for summer 2009. Spyamp are: Rob Black, Mark Giannico, Alan Jeans & Iain Macaulay
