Monkey Steak are producers Atki2 and Hanuman from Bristol and London respectively. With their ruffnek beats and rude bwoy pop Monkey Steak are dancefloor dynamite. Mashing up global riddims and bass heavy genre bending ruffness, they incorporate sounds from bassline to bashment, grime to dubstep to 2step garage to baille funk to jungle and back again! They entered the scene anonymously back in 2005, dropping the first 12" in Werk Disc's infamous Grim Dubs series, a tongue-in-cheek and irreverent take on the then emerging dubstep scene.

JME (real name Jamie Adenuga) is the owner & CEO of Boy Better Know, a North London-based record label, along with his brother Skepta. He started out producing on mobile phone ring tones, then moving on to Mario Paint, Game Boy Camera and currently Fruity Loops. Adenuga also co-owns with UpTown Records his own T-shirt chain, bearing the labels of himself, his record label Boy Better Know, and his dormant club night Straight Outta Bethnal. Just released his debut album Famous? and set release an album through a major label with his crew Boy Better Know.
Sam Atkins a.k.a Atki2 is a 27 year old Dubstep producer from Bristol. He has been developing his twisted vision of grime and dubstep styles through his various releases on Werk Discs and Shadetek Records. He also records as one half of Monkey Steak with partner in crime Hanuman, the two of them having produced a split EP with Parasite for Death$ucker Records, and again for Werk Discs. Shystie, pronounced ~ [§hy-§téé] is a UK female Musician/Actress, birth name Chanelle Calica who was born and raised in London. Shystie started gaining fame with her white label response to Dizzee Rascal's "I Luv U" and was also the supporting act whilst touring with 50 Cent and G-Unit, Basement Jaxx and The Streets. In 2004 to 2005 Shystie spent a lot of her time performing in and out of the country, touring across America, Germany, Brazil, Chile and Argentina, promoting her first album 'Diamond in the dirt' and showcasing her home town...
Benga (real name Beni Uthman) is a uk music producer from Croydon, and is part of the Big Apple Records label. Being inspired by Wookie and an associate of producer Skream Benga released his debut 12", "Skank," in late 2002. A co-production with Skream called "The Judgement" appeared on Big Apple in early 2003, and then Benga began his own label — Benga Beats — and released the three-track 12" Benga Beats, Vol. 1 in 2004.
