Aesop Rock (born Ian Bavitz on June 5, 1976) is an alternative hip hop artist/producer from Northport, New York, United States. He has released six albums: "Music for Earthworms" (1997), "Float" (1999), "Labor Days" (2001), "Bazooka Tooth" (2003), "None Shall Pass" (2007 ) and "Skelethon" (2012). He is also a member of the groups Hail Mary Mallon, The Weathermen and Two of Every Animal.

The Hackensaw Boys first began playing their joyful blend of old-time and bluegrass-tinged string-band music on the streets of Charlottesville, Virginia in the autumn of 1999. Far from limiting themselves to the old-time canon, however, the Hackensaws have been first and foremost a band of songwriters. Their music, while drawing upon the spirit of the mountains, is sophisticated and informed by the best elements of punk rock and classic country music. As one reviewer put it:

Born in Toronto, Camille was raised in Whitby, Ontario by a mother who played the piano every night and a music encyclopedia for a father. As a child she performed at various events and festivals throughout Ontario and Québec. At age 17, wanting to clear her head of any outside influence while planning her next step she went to Ecuador for a few months on a trip that was to change everything. Suddenly the only thing that mattered was getting on trains and moving.
