Carol Thompson

Born in America of Anglo-Welsh-Irish-Austrian heritage, Carol Thompson is one of America's foremost players of the Celtic harp, began playing the pedal harp at age thirteen with classical instruction from Dorothy Knauss of Allentown, PA, a student of Alfred Holy. After years of playing classical music, she allowed her lifelong interest in medieval and renaissance history to take to the fore, and learned to play several variants of her instrument.

The Chieftains are a Grammy winning Irish musical group founded in 1962, known for performing and popularizing Irish traditional music. The band has recorded many albums of instrumental Irish folk music, as well as multiple collaborations with popular musicians of many genres, including Country music, Galician traditional music, Cape Breton and Newfoundland music, and rock and roll. Martin Hayes (born 1962) is a fiddler, born in Maghera (between Feakle and Tulla) in East County Clare, Ireland, and now living in West Hartford, Connecticut. He has been the All Ireland Fiddle Champion six times, and has won a National Entertainment Award, and the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2000 award for Instrumentalist of the Year. Hayes has recorded five albums – The Shores of Lough Graney with P. J.

Harry Styles

Harry Edward Styles, born 1 February 1994 (age 19), is from the village of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England and is a member of English-Irish five-piece boyband One Direction. Styles was the lead singer for the band White Eskimo with band members lead guitarist Haydn Morris, bass guitarist Nick Clough and drummer Will Sweeny. Styles auditioned with "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder and received positive comments from two of the three judges present at his audition, with Louis Walsh having terrible doubts on whether he was ready to progress in the competition.

Beoga

Beoga are a five-piece traditional band based in County Antrim. The band was drawn together after ‘jamming’ in a ferocious music session at the All-Ireland Fleadh in August 2002. Their unique sound features the twin duelling accordians of Seán Óg Graham and Damian McKee, along with four times All-Ireland bodhrán champion Eamon Murray and pianist Liam Bradley, and are more recently joined by Niamh Dunne.
