Funeral for a Friend

Funeral for a Friend is a post-hardcore band from Wales. They formed in 2001 as a sextet called January Thirst. Our Innocence Lost

Based in Manchester (UK) Our Innocence Lost are an Emo/Scene/New Wave/Rock band that have been compared to My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco and early Manic Street Preachers. Energy, twinned guitars and unforgettable melody merge with instantly identifiable lyrics leaving the listener feeling very much a part of the band. O.I.L were brought to life a little over a year ago but the embryo of the band stretches way back when James met with a then 15 year old virtuoso guitarist named Craig Robinson...

Scholars

1. Sam Nicholls (formerly of aptly-monikered local heroes Aboycalledhero) and Tom Woodstock joined (sometime Tellison stand-in drummer) Mike Frost and Chris Aylett to form SCHOLARS, a rock band with ambition, ideas and a strong sense of purpose. SCHOLARS play what comes naturally to them – melodic rock with a healthy dose of energy and passion. Combining pop sensibilities and anthemic choruses with creative instrumental arrangements and thoughtful lyrics, the band have created a blend of alt-rock, indie and emo which is heartfelt and free from pretension.
