David Tattersall

David Tattersall is the lead vocalist/guitarist of The Wave Pictures. His debut solo album ''Happy For A While'', was written and recorded in Berlin during the spring of 2009 with the assistance of Clemence Freschard and Stanley Brinks and is due for release in early 2010. It features eleven original compositions, not available anywhere else. A free, digital downlod single of the album's title track was released by Where It's At Is Where You Are Records on the 1st January 2010.

3 artists under the name Coming Soon 1/ Taking in West Coast French anti-folk band with vocal performances that variously recall the drained baritone of Leonard Cohen and Moldy Peaches as fronted by Suggs, the debut album by this French seven-piece (who’ve busked in Covent Garden) is all over the place in the very best of ways. Ages range from 15 to 26, subjects from kissing like Jack Nicholson to the brand of blues specifically associated with baking pies for your mother’s third wedding.
They signed to Kitchen Music from Paris, these young troubadours make you dance, think and smile.

Crywank

Crywank is James Clayton trying as hard as he can to do some folk-punk influenced acoustic music with no previous experience playing guitar. He does this with the help of his friends (often Samuel Chichuta), and with a lot of persistence. Most of his songs are about getting up, going to bed, irregular heartbeats and cats. The name Crywank comes from a nickname a friend gave James due to his over-the-top displays of sadness.

Milkteeth

NB: There are a few bands with the name Milkteeth, or variations of. The following biography deals with Milkteeth from the city of Hereford, UK (Feb/05 - Sep/06) Milkteeth were a duo comprising of Elspeth Anne Macrae and Leila Terrett. They formed near Hereford,UK, both aged 16, after having played together as part of a lo-fi band for a year or so previously. Elspeth and Leila both switched between guitar and drums, and lead and harmonic vocals. Their music could be described as blending elements of folk, anti-folk, punk and grunge. Or punk elephants in lemonade as they characterised it.

Alex Carson is a Singer/Songwriter type person from Norwich. Likes cats, books, tea, and fine hats. He has been playing piano since the age of 6 and the guitar since 10. He wrote his first song at the tender age of 11 and it was about fish. His songs have only gotten slightly better since.

Ben Marwood

Born in the same hospital where cult TV comedy Green Wing was to be shot a mere few decades later, lyrical songsmith Ben Marwood mixes pop songwriting with a generous portion of angsty anti-folk. Signed to one of the UK’s smallest but proudest record labels, the ever-DIY Broken Tail Records, he’s gigged alongside Frank Turner, Frightened Rabbit, Pete and the Pirates, SixNationState, Glasvegas, Jetplane Landing and Chris T-T, and he’s loved every second of it.
