Dave Young

Singer/songwriter Dave Young started off his career working with Dave Hollister crafting the single "Keep Loving You" and also songs "Tell Me Why" as well as being featured on Talib Kweli single "Never Been In Love". He has been signed to Mary J. Blige's imprint, Matriarch Records. Lately Dave has been keeping busy working on his debut album and was also featured on Mary J. Blige's album The Breakthrough as well as opening for her during her Growing Pains Tour. Dave has wrote some of the latest hit songs such as LeToya (formerly of Destiny's Child) single "Torn", Mary J.

Parliament

Parliament was originally The Parliaments, a doo-wop group based out of George Clinton's Plainfield, New Jersey barber shop. The name was soon abandoned due to legal issues with Revilot and Atlantic Records, and most of the same people recorded under the name Funkadelic, which consisted of The Parliaments' backing musicians. Billy "Bass" Nelson is credited with creating the name Funkadelic. He also switched from 6-string guitar to bass, creating room for his childhood friend Eddie Hazel to join the group.

London is a glam metal/hard rock band, based in Hollywood, California. The band is perhaps most notable for featuring members that would go on to play in more famous bands such as Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, W.A.S.P. and Cinderella.
London was formed in 1978 by Lizzie Grey and Nikki Sixx. The two met when Sixx was recruited to play bass for Sister, the band that Grey was in with Blackie Lawless. This line-up did not last long and soon Grey and Sixx left to form London. The two recruited a local drummer named Dane Rage.

John Stephens (born December 28, 1978 in Springfield, Ohio), better known as John Legend, is a Grammy award winning R&B singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet and actor signed to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. Prior to the release of his debut album Get Lifted in 2004, Legend's career gained momentum through a series of successful collaborations with multiple established artists such as Jay-Z, Alicia Keys and Lauryn Hill. He released his second album, Once Again in 2006, and his latest release, 2008's Evolver showcased a more experimental and upbeat side of Legend.

Cody Simpson (born 11 January 1997) is an Australian pop/R&B singer-songwriter from Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who is currently signed to U.S. record label Atlantic Records. Simpson began to record songs in his bedroom during the summer of 2009 on YouTube, performing Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours", "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake, and his own songs, "One" and "Perfect". He was subsequently discovered on YouTube by Shawn Campbell, a Grammy-nominated record producer who has produced for Jay-Z and other artists.

Israel Ka'ano'i Kamakawiwo'ole was born May 20, 1959 to Henry (aka Tiny) KaleiAloha Naniwa Kamakwiwo`ole Jr. and Evangeline Leinani (Keale) Kamakawiwo`ole. He lived the first 10 years of his life in Palolo Valley on O'ahu. Then the family moved to Makaha. He started playing music with his older brother Skippy when he was just 11 years old. But that isn't surprising, as Israel came from a musical family. His uncle is Moe Keale, a living legend in Hawai.

Kelis Rogers-Jones (born Kelis Rogers on August 21, 1979), is known simply by her first name Kelis (pronounced Kuh-lees). Her name is an amalgamation of her parents' first names, her black father Kenneth and Chinese-Puerto Rican mother Eveliss. Growing up in Middle Class Harlem, New York Kelis' childhood was not a deprived one. But she was not without problems, after her parents realised they could not cope with her unruly behaviour (Kelis shaved all her hair off at age 13, soon afterwards dyeing the regrowth the colors of the rainbow)...
