Peelander-Z

Peelander-Z is a Japanese band currently in New York. The Band consists of three members: Peelander Yellow, the guitarist and lead singer, Peelander Red, the bassist, and Peelander Green, the drummer, who replaced Peelander Blue. There is also a Peelander Pink that helps out on stage sometimes. Peelander-Z is a "Japanese super-action comic band." They seem to make fun of a Japanese style of music known as Visual Kei which consists of bands that are mainly men that mainly dress up as girls and 80's hair bands.

Rocket

There is more than one band going by the moniker 'Rocket': (1) Rocket (all-girl rock band): When you think of Rocket, think of driving along an L.A. beach in an open-top, bright pink Cadillac. Rocket is a revolutionary concoction of fun, parties, bubblegum and beating hearts. Coquettishness-meets-bombast, kittens-meet-rattlesnakes; Rocket is the launching pad for a new generation of pop music. The all-girl band mixes 60's girl group innocence with 70's decibel-damaging boulevard beat...

Orange

Orange can refer to multiple artists. 1) What do you do when your band mates decide that after being with you for 7 years, touring America and Canada constantly, releasing two very well received albums and being your childhood best friends that this “whole music thing” isn’t really what they want to do, and they quit…

You really have two options, quit or carry on. Thankfully that’s what Joe Dexter and Zak Glosserman decided to do.

Mike TV

Mike TV were reborn again in 2008 after spending several years languishing under the phallic pseudonym of Pickled Dick. Like a middle aged moron who has found religion, the band set out to inform the world of their new found pop sensibilities without anyone really listening or caring. That first year saw the quirky quartet release a new 13 track S/T CD and tour with such bands as ZOLOF THE ROCK AND ROLL DESTROYER, ARMY OF FRESHMEN, USELESS ID, THE DICKIES, RANDOM HAND and GUTTERMOUTH as well as performing alongside stalwarts of the UK punk rock scene – THE KING BLUES and SONIC BOOM SIX.

http://www.chalktalk.bigcartel.com/ With no music scene in their area to speak of, Chalk Talk has risen to the challenge of being a decidedly DIY band. Within months of forming, the band, then consisting of dual vocalists Bryce Pulaski and Andy Kapinos on guitar and drums respectively, recorded a six-song demo entitled 'Killing Spree', threw together a few dozen copies on their own and hit the road for a week-long Northeast tour.
