A young musician & DJ Bishi was British born to a Bengali musical family. Her mother, an Indian Classical singer, warned her against the dangers of a musical life. Undeterred she took secret lessons in voice & piano. An outcast at school because of her dress sense. At the age of 13, she met club promoter & musician Matthew Glamorre at a Minty concert becoming friends, they have been collaborating ever since.
Late of the Pier are an alternative electronic band formed in "The Home of Metal", Castle Donington, England, in 2001.
