Peter Buckley Hill
Known to busk at Cambridge Folk Festival, England, as Main Stage 4 well into the night. Also organiser of Free Fringe at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland in August each year. PBH website. Peter plays guitar and sings his own comedic and parody songs. Audience participation is encouraged and indeed forms an important part of the event. A unique and, some might say, eccentric individual. He has produced a number of CDs of his material and live performances.
Billy Connolly
William "Billy" Connolly, CBE, (born 24 November 1942) is a comedian, musician, presenter, and actor. He is sometimes known, especially in his native Scotland, by the nickname "The Big Yin" (The Big One), a reference to his height. Gregory Everett Proops (born October 3, 1959, in Phoenix, Arizona) is an American actor and stand-up comedian, and works largely in Europe as a comic and improviser. Raised in San Francisco, Proops studied improvisation and acting at San Francisco State University. After graduation, he joined an improv group with Mike McShane, which proved to be his ticket to stardom. Both Proops and McShane impressed producers Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson, who put them on their show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?.
