Platnum are a three-piece bassline vocal group from Manchester, UK, consisting of male vocalist Aaron Evers and female vocalists Mina Poli and Michelle McKenna. The group formed for a local talent show, Urban Superstars, in around 2004. They did not win the competition, but used their entry track, Over the Heartache, to showcase their talents to established members of the UK Bassline scene. The track proved popular, and a remix, by DJ Jamie Duggan, was awarded Bassline Heaven's Tune of the Year Award in 2006.

Jodie Connor (born May 8, 1981) is an English singer-song writer originally from Oldham, Greater Manchester. According to the Now Or Never Songfacts, she appeared in 2003 as a contestant on the second series of the hit British television show Pop Idol. She made it to the final fifty of the competition, earning her the chance to perform live to the nation, but failed to finish in the top two in her group and was finally eliminated in the wildcard round.

"Ironik" was born on January 18, 1988 in London, England. He decided on a career in music at an early age. He started his early career at the age of 13 when he worked as a DJ in clubs, initially in his home country but his talent was quickly spotted and he moved around Europe. His first single, "So Nice," was Released in summer of 2007. It achieved popularity on the music channels, including remaining in the top 3 of the viewer request chart on Channel U for 20 weeks, however it had limited success elsewhere due to his bait lyrics.
