Peter Kruder and Richard Dorfmeister are an Austrian duo most known for their downtempo-dub remixes of pop, hip-hop, and drum and bass songs. Their remixes are often flavoured with bossa nova or jazz sounds; some of their better-known works include remixes of Madonna's "Nothing Really Matters," Depeche Mode's "Useless," Bone Thugs-N-Harmony's "1st of tha Month," and Roni Size's "Heroes." Many of these are collected on the double album The K&D Sessions.
Formed in 2002, originally hailing from Phoenix, AZ and now residing in Oakland, California, Graves at Sea play a very droney, slow, painful sounding type of sludge. With members coming from previous bands and one member having knowledge in sound engineering their first demo went extremely well and immediately caught some attention in the doom metal subculture, promptly causing the band to get signed and start producing legit material and in turn, gaining even more praise in the metal scene.
