Rhos Male Voice Choir

The Rhos Male Voice Choir was formed in 1891 with Richard Mills, a prominent musician of that time, as its conductor. Choral competitions at the many Eisteddfodau were the Choir's life blood. By the turn of the century, many premier awards had been won by the Choir. The Rhos Male Voice Choir is in great demand all over Wales and England, and in the 1899 appeared in St. James' Hall, London. In 1903, the choir sang for the Prince of Wales. They have appeared before Royalty several times since including Royal Variety Command Performance before Queen Elizabeth in 1975.
