The Tango Saloon

The Tango Saloon is an experimental tango band from Sydney, Australia. Their self-titled debut, a tango-flavored album with a twist of spaghetti western, was released in 2006 by Ipecac Recordings, the American record label run by Mike Patton and Greg Werckman. The followup, Transylvania was released in 2008. In June 2007, the band was seen supporting Ipecac label-mates Peeping Tom on the East-coast leg of their Australian tour.

Becky Jones has been performing as a singer since she was 16, going on to complete a vocal Degree in Popular Music and setting up her own company called 'Sing' which provides singing and vocal lessons. Having written and produced original material since graduating for her music degree in 2003, Becky has continuously toured Europe with her electronic projects and a song from her first EP was licensed to Hed Kandi and released worldwide.
