Auburn

"Auburn," as you will quickly notice, refers to more than one band. First is an R&B/pop singer who sings "La La La." Most other tracks are from a southern metalcore band of the same name. According to the La La La Songfacts, Auburn Williams was born in Minneapolis to a single mother. She began singing in church and listened to nothing but gospel music as a kid. When she was 13, Auburn began performing with a local all-girl group called Loyal and she continued to work on her songwriting, posting tracks on her MySpace page growing her fanbase the grass-roots way.

Dilshini Mendis

Born to Sri Lankan parents, in Germany, with a slightly American twang to her accent, Dilshini Mendis is a new songwriter with great attitude and a cool name, a sensation for the United Kingdom. "The songs on her new album include several moving pieces that recall ways of life lost to love and mistakes and the passage of time (Thoughts on a platform); bittersweet reminiscences of love (Letter 51); and insightful observations of people living at the fringes of culture (Paint the Picture & More)."
