Softly spoken, half Maltese, Londoner, movie lover, coffee drinker, song writer... Charlie Calleja is a 23 year old, unsigned singer/songwriter from London. His first priority when songwriting is the melody. Charlie is a big believer in melody being the most important ingredient in a great song. His influences stretch from Nick Drake, The Beatles, Paul Simon and David Bowie to more recent acts such as Ryan Adams, Regina Spektor, Sufjan Stevens and Coldplay. Charlie has a monthly residency at Monkey Chews in Chalk Farm, London. Other than that he just plays wherever he is wanted!
