Cooly G
Cooly G (Merrisa Campbell) comes from Brixton. She’s often placed within the growing UK funky movement, and her tracks almost always include a dancefloor-ready bassline. Yet she wouldn’t describe herself as part of the scene, even though she used to rap for funky producer Fingaprint.
Her dad had his own studio which she used to play about with, so she’d learned to DJ at the age of seven and was teaching music technology to men three times her age two months after she left school.
Forget Me Not
There are 2 bands called Forget Me Not. 1) A chaotic experimental band from Ehime (Japan). They released a split with Revival Sheep/Sora and Folio. And a 3song EP in 2007. 2) forget me not was a punkrock band from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). They released a 5 song demo in 2003.
Supra1
Hailing from the former Eastern Bloc, Poland’s Supra1 produce next-level dubstep, UK funky, and bassline house wobblers that kill it on dancefloors worldwide. Hailing from historic Krakow—where they throw an epic underground party of their own—they debuted on Trouble & Bass last year with a killer remix of Little Jinder’s “Polyhedron” that was supported by everyone from Diplo to Basement Jaxx, as well as reaching #1 in Beatport.com’s “Top 10 Late Night Bangers” chart.

Salva
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) "Paul Salva is a funky motherf-cker," says The Fader. Beyond those who already know this, the rest of the electronic music world is catching wind of the 29 year old producer, DJ, promoter and label boss. Already heralded by the Numbers, Ernest Endeavors and LuckyMe crews in the UK, the Low End Theory residents in LA and his own Frite Nite label/crew in SF, Salva is primed as he preps the release of his debut album, Complex Housing for the Friends of Friends (FoF Music) label.
