Fool's Gold

Fool's Gold is an Afro-pop band which formed in Los Angeles in 2006. The band rotates around Luke Top (real name Nativ Top) and Lewis Pesacov and also enlists friends and colleagues that include members of bands Foreign Born and Glasser, former members of We Are Scientists, The Fall and a variety of visual artists . Their major influence is South African, Ethiopian and Eritrean music, while lead singer Luke Top, who was born and raised in Israel, sings in Hebrew.

Renaissance Man

Being born white, male and scandinavian prepares you for a bleak future. However two Helsinki DJ's Downtown and Jaxxon made it through the jungle; although without house music these guys would already be dead or in lower management. Hailing from the new breed of Helsinki club survivors they bless the world with a mixture of all things kick drum and a bassline fused into their concept of contemporary dance music.

Rainbow Arabia

Rainbow Arabia marry electro-acoustic dance sounds and world music with the youthful energy of punk using an array of Lebanese synthesizers and drum machines, serpentine guitar lines, live percussion, and Siouxsie-esque vocals that are at times war calls while beautifully spectral at others. UK label Merok (Crystal Castles, The Teenagers, and Klaxons) released their EP "the Basta" in fall 2008, while Manimal Vinyl (Bat For Lashes, Hecuba) released it in the US.
