Wooden Pigs

Wooden Pigs are a four piece indie/rock band from Bournemouth. They gig primarily throughout London and have headlined various venues including Monto Water Rats, The Dublin Castle and 93 Feet East. Wooden Pigs have also supported touring acts when they've come to the south at venues such as The Joiners, 60 Million Postcards and Orange Rooms.

Wooden Pigs were spotted by Artrocker’s online editor after their first London gig in May 2009, subsequently Artrocker heralded them as one of the best unsigned bands to look out for and were featured on their website. They’ve had media exposure on the south’s top radio stations and one of their songs ‘Taste’ was used by Sky Sports on the highlight reel of the show ‘Goals On Sunday’. They've also been featured on the ‘Best Of Myspace’ podcast which is compiled by NME radio DJ Gill Mills.

Wooden Pigs pride themselves on their live sound and perfomance, which has been proven from the response at gigs and have worked hard to develop a unique yet commercial sound which appeals to a large audience.

Joan of Arc

They began in 1995, following the break up of a former band, Cap'n Jazz. Joan of Arc are known for their use of electronics, samples, and multi-track recordings in their songs - some songs on The Gap contained over 100 tracks - although recently they have been writing in more traditional terms. Their lyrics and cover art are considered highly conceptual and confusing.
