HARDCORE WEDNESDAYS

Hardcore Wednesdays are a unsigned up and coming rock group from West Lothian in Scotland. Definition of Hardcore: An intractable core or nucleus of a society, especially one that is stubbornly resistant to improvement or change.
The Hardcore Wednesdays formed around the tail end of 2008. We had originally set out with little experience playing our instruments. Only jamming away with 4 acoustics. Our lyricist Hardcore Kenny would pen the lyrics. We have since formed into a proper band with one of the guitarists picking up the drums and the other picking up the bass.

Love and Money

James Grant left his backseat role in Friends Again in 1984 and took his guitar and vocals to form Love and Money in 1985. It became the outlet for his developing songwriting skills. Love and Money released the single 'Candybar Express' in 1986 (UK 56) receiving airplay on new wave radio stations with its mix of jazz, soul, and funk. This debut album however seemed to go unnoticed and did not chart.
Their second album "Strange Kind of Love", produced by legendary Steely Dan producer Gary Katz, achieved silver disk status and great critical acclaim, and is now recognised as a classic.

The Ramisco Maki Maki Rocking Horse

"I would describe my music as a collection of melodies, broken thoughts and noise. I guess I'm drifting towards the alternative folk end of the musical spectrum, but there's no real direction behind that. I'm influenced by everything and anything, I think most songwriters are. Whether it's a string of words that comes into your head while you're building a cardboard universe or a melody that suddenly rings out from a guitar as you pluck it's strings, you don't have to search for it, life presents inspiration."

Sucioperro

Sucioperro are a three piece from Ayr in Scotland, who play spiralling off kilter alt-rock. They are indeed alt-rock but they go beyond this as a band. They've cited their influences as Rage Against the Machine, Crowded House, Pearl Jam, Tool, Jimmy Eat World, Talking Heads, The Police, Prince and "anything vibed/energetic/real". This mix of musical influences all comes out in their live show, which is something that you simply cannot miss.
