Bow Mods

Bow Mods are PCS (vocals) and Ne'er-Do-Well (everything else). A skewed alliance of theatrical tart and synth boffin, the duo was rudely birthed to the clanging of East London's Bow bells. Employing a relentlessly strict Bauhaus aesthetic* and a potty-mouthed schoolboy humour, their angular, outre pop is tough, utilitarian and soaked in brittle, British wit. Effortlessly distilling arch diatribe into thrilling three minute nuggets on love, loss, suffering, shagging, death and dancing, BM are defining a darkly comic oeuvre all of their own.

Patch William

Patch William officially started in the summer of 2007 with their first gig at Bristol University. The band consists of Ed and Will, who are brothers, George, one of their old friends, and Ali, a recent addition to the band since recording. For their first year playing the band conscientiously gigged around London, recorded at home and promoted themselves culminating in a lucky run-in with producer Steve Levine. Having heard them play Steve quickly signed the band to his label, Hubris records, in the summer of 2008.

Loqui

Variously described as anything from a Pumped-Up Polyphonic Spree to a Punked-out Meatloaf... no wait, COME BACK! Destined to divide opinion from the obsessed to repelled, Leeds-based theatrical odd-balls Loqui are in possession of a unique sound and stage show that has been enthusing and bemusing in equal measure. Loqui have built a reputation on an uproarious live show that encompasses genres as diverse as rock, punk, pop and a myriad of alternative styles as well as the licensed usage of the potentially lethal controlled substances ska, funk and hip-hop.
