Patsy Reid

Patsy Reid is from Knapp in Perthshire and despite her young age, she has a great amount of experience in performing and teaching both traditional and classical music. She remains the youngest ever winner of the prestigious Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship and released her debut solo album “With Complements” in 2002. At 17, Patsy was a finalist in the original BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award and is now a member of the band Breabach who won a Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections 2005.

The Unusual Suspects are : either the band listed here or Scotland's one & only celtic big band. After having disappeared for the latter part of 2006, The Unusual Suspects are gearing up to hit the road harder than ever before. 2005 saw the band release their professional debut EP, "Phonograph." It included numerous songs that received radio-play across the Southeast. In order to keep the momentum going, the band hit the road playing shows all over the region.

Lori Watson

Lori Watson is a singer and fiddle player who plays Celtic and Borders influenced music. Her band includes her brother Innes on guitar and Fiona Young on accordion. Barry Reid also accompanies Lori with his guitar on the CD ':Three'. She has played with and supported an extensive list of artists, such as Cara Dillon, John Smith, Brian McNeill, Aly Bain, Cathal McConnell, Duncan Chisholm, Karine Polwart, Dick Gaughan The Unusual Suspects and Scottish Women.

Kayhan Kalhor

Kayhan Kalhor (Persian: كيهان كلهر), born 1963, is an Iranian kamancheh player of Kurdish descent.
Kayhan Kalhor was born in Tehran. He began studying music at seven years of age. By age thirteen he was playing in the National Orchestra of Radio and Television of Iran. Continuing his music studies under various teachers, he studied in the Persian radif tradition and also travelled to study in the northern part of Khorasan province, where music traditions have Kurdish and Turkic influences as well as Persian.
