Billy Childish

A cult figure in America, Europe and Japan, Billy Childish is by far the most prolific painter, poet, and song-writer of his generation. In a twenty year period he has published 30 collections of his poetry, recorded over 70 full-length independent LP’s and produced over 1000 paintings. Born in 1959 in Chatham, Kent. Billy Childish left Secondary education at 16 an undiagnosed dyslexic. Refused an interview at the local art school he entered the Naval Dockyard at Chatham as an apprentice stonemason.

U.K. Subs

The U.K. Subs were part of the original punk rock movement in England that formed in 1976, with the initial name of the Subversives. The band's founder, ex-ladies hairdresser Charlie Harper selected guitarist Nicky Garratt, bassist Paul Slack, and various drummers - eventually, with Pete Davis the line-up became fairly stable - under the initial name "U.K. Subversives".
Their style combined the energy of punk and the rock and roll edge of the then thriving pub rock scene.

Daddysmilk

Daddysmilk is a rock band based in Manchester, England. The members are originally Norwegian, from Bjørndal, a small suburb of Oslo. When based in Norway, the band were mostly known for their live shows in Oslo. The band relocated to England in 2008. All of the members collaborate in terms of songwriting, though the main contributor seem to be Marius Aasan. Øystein Sootholtet also contributed a lot to the songwriting process early in the bands career, but left the band in November 2007.

The Apers

The Apers started back in 1996 as a three piece in the suburbs of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Kevin and Marien met in highschool, Ivo lived in a town nearby. They started gigging around the Netherlands. In 2000 Jerry Hormone joined the band on second guitar. But after 5 years, he decided to leave, so Kelvin Centerfold took over his place. Kelvin rules! The Apers have done more than 600 shows, rocking in countries like the Netherlands, USA, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, France, Spain, England, Scotland, Ireland, Slovakia and Norway.

TV Smith

TV Smith, former frontman and songwriter of seminal UK punk band The Adverts, is seen as a cult legend by many fans of Britain's late 1970s New Wave scene.
Tim Smith grew up in Devon where he developed an interest in poetry and, later - influenced by the records of Bowie and Roxy Music - songwriting. At art college, he met girlfriend and fellow Iggy and the Stooges devotee Gaye Black and in 1976 the couple moved to London after reading about the Sex Pistols in the music press with the aim of starting their own punk band.
